Dear Doug, I can’t thank you enough for the beautiful job that you did wallpapering my dining room…It looks absolutely beautiful…Thank you also for fixing the wallpaper in my bathrooms, I know it ended up being a challenge, but I so appreciate it. 

Not only did Doug do a gorgeous job in my teenager’s bedroom applying a unique, tricky wall covering and creating a very special magnetic wall, he also work diligently on making sure all the details were researched and ordered correctly. This part is a big deal because we were working with an overseas Etsy seller providing a unusual wall covering material that needed special instructions for application. The final result was a magical transformation that was just so easy for me because Doug did all the hard work. I could not be happier with the process and the service.

What professionals ! A lot of people can paint, but you did a beautiful job AND were prompt, considerate, clean and a joy to have in my house, I got an email each evening telling me what time to expect you, and Bryan was there waiting for me as promised. I will refer you to friends with great confidence.

It is hard to express in words how great I think Doug and his team are.  Doug painted our new house with three floors from top to bottom.  It was an enormous project to take on and they executed it beautifully.  The entire team was wonderful, courteous and respectful.  I could not be there to monitor progress daily but I knew from previous jobs with Doug that I could completely trust that the job would be done correctly and with meticulous precision.  I could not have gotten through this project without him.  I look forward to the next project.

Doug and crew painted the majority of the inside of our home earlier this fall. He was faced with a tight time table given Jen’s engagement party and he and the crew were a pleasure to have in our home. They were both friendly and professional. I recommend the company to anyone looking for painting services. Doug also did a great job of patching the upstairs ceiling where our Doug stepped through during hurricane Sandy!

Everyone that stops by (the PermaFloor office) always compliments the colors and the paint job!…Always appreciate doing business with a class operation.

Coupled with a floor installation, we also redecorated, in part to replace prior shoddily hung wallpaper, in part to freshen up the look to go with our new floors.  Doug removed old wallpaper (incredibly neatly!), obtained paints as chosen, collected our wallpaper from the dealer, painted trim and details (even painting and storing the new baseboards at his shop until delivering them to our floor contractor), painted walls and railings, and very precisely hung the new wallpaper.

Because we had worked with him once before, there was no reason to call anyone other than Doug, even if there was a thought that prices might be a bit lower.  He is a fastidious worker (the man cleaned up better than we do!), and always on time and the wallpaper (which he picked up, saving us the trouble) has been hung beautifully.  Doug is pleasant, professional and totally trustworthy; we thought nothing of leaving him alone in the house knowing there would be no problems at all.  He worked around the — shall we call it? — somewhat flexible scheduling of our flooring contractor without complaint.  Unlike other contractors we have used in the past, every telephone call to him was answered promptly.  Again, after working with him once, there was no reason to call anyone else nor will there be.

Doug did such a wonderful job hanging wallpaper murals at the new Pediatric Dental building in State College. I highly recommend him!
